The Give | Cardiac Rehabilitation

Help people recover from heart disease’s deadly consequences.

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Fund supports Horizon Health’s Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program - an education and exercise program that teaches patients how to manage their heart disease by changing daily health habits.

While completely free of charge for patients, the cost to run the Cardiac Rehab Program for staffing and program delivery is $800,000 each year and is covered by the Provincial Government.

The important part, though — everything that makes the Cardiac Rehab Program amazing, including access to top tier equipment, would not be possible without your support.

Due to the high demand and positive outcomes, the program has expanded to include a satellite location in Sussex. And with your kind help, care providers are once again looking to expand the program to a 3rd location soon!
