Hospital Foundation Announces New Leadership Position

SAINT JOHN, NB: The Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation (Foundation) is pleased to announce that Angie Kelly, an award-winning Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with 20 years of success inspiring transformational growth, has been hired as the Director of Leadership Giving.
She will be relocating from Ottawa, where she was most recently a member of the senior management team at The Ottawa Mission, responsible for transformational growth and diversification of revenue streams, resulting in growing revenue from $6.5 million to $11.9 million in 5 years.

"She is an accomplished fundraiser and will bring experience, enthusiasm, and data-driven strategies to our organization. The new position is an ongoing reflection of our commitment to enhancing our efforts to grow the Foundation and its support of our hospital."
Reporting to the Vice President and collaborating with the Foundation's Director of Direct and Digital Marketing, the new role will support the Foundation's mission of creating more meaningful opportunities to impact health care delivery across New Brunswick.
"Completing the national search and welcoming a passionate industry leader is the final element of recently announced structural changes to the organization," says Shannon Hunter, Vice President of the Foundation. "As the Director of Leadership Giving, Angie will focus on growing our major gifts and legacy giving programs, enhancing our overall philanthropic revenue generation activities and supporting health care advancements on behalf of the donors we serve."

As a professional fundraiser, I am deeply passionate about philanthropy and recognize that donors are at the heart of all we do."
