We’re extremely grateful for donors. It’s at once inspiring and humbling to see such encouraging support from our community members.
Like our donors, we value our hospital, and want to ensure it continues to deliver leading-edge care to our entire province. That’s why 100% of our staff make regular contributions to our Foundation.
Together, we’re inspiring the power of community to transform healthcare.

President and CEO
I am a proud New Brunswicker. I choose to live, work and raise my family in Saint John because I believe that this is a special place. I get excited about seeing the power of local philanthropy. Our donors understand that their generosity makes good healthcare better for you, me, our families, and our neighbours. This is a cause that impacts each and every person from every walk of life. Philanthropy means “a love of humanity” and to be able to work for an organization that plays such an important philanthropic role in our community is truly a special thing.
I have built my career as a resource development professional in New Brunswick because I’m passionate about advancing causes I believe in to enhance life for people in my home province. I am honoured to be with the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation where each day, our work will support world-class care at the largest health care centre in the province. Members of my own family have received exceptional care at the Saint John Regional Hospital which was critical to their full recovery and I know that so many fellow New Brunswickers have experienced the same. How lucky I am to be part of such an incredible team, connecting the philanthropic interests of our donors to such vital work. Making the move from Fredericton, my children and I are happy to now call Saint John, home. I look forward to meeting many of you soon!
Director of Finance and Administration
Before joining the Hospital Foundation in 2014, I worked at a charity and jumped at the opportunity to work at the Saint Regional Hospital Foundation. It’s inspiring to work with a team that’s passionate and believes in its mission. I think I ended up where I needed to be. My home has some acres in the quiet woods within commuting distance to Saint John. Highway #1 is a good road and even in the winter months, the plows and sanding trucks respond immediately to keep travel safe during the winter storms. Having a cafeteria is a great perk! I appreciate the interesting and diverse food.
Executive Administrative Assistant
Coming to Saint John in the summer of 2018 was a huge transition from my home in Alberta. I went from prairies to coastline and had to adjust to all the weather and culture changes. I was fortunate to be welcomed to the Foundation where I found the most dedicated and friendly team helping make healthcare better for all New Brunswickers. The more I find out about this fabulous facility and its people, the more I am impressed and proud to be in this supporting role.
Community Engagement Coordinator
Emma [email protected]
I am a Saint John Enthusiast and born & raised New Brunswicker, so I am ecstatic to be working with an organization, like the Foundation, that impacts my community’s healthcare and their lives! Philanthropy and its ideals have followed me my whole life, through high school to Acadia University and now, I am lucky to say, through my career choices. My role at the Foundation will be to successfully coordinate our signature events and support community members with their amazing fundraising ideas. I am very proud to be in this role and become a part of the Foundation which has such a profound and ground-breaking effect on my community.
Senior Philanthropy Specialist
I’ve worked in the development and the communications field for two of New Brunswick’s leading provincial arts and cultural organizations. I’ve also been responsible for media relations, stakeholder and community engagement, marketing, and administration with private, not-for-profit, and government organizations in New Brunswick and Ontario. I have a passion for publicly accessible health care and direct experience working in that environment through two large Toronto-based hospitals and several health-cause related organizations. I’m thrilled to be joining the foundation and making Saint John confirmed residence.
I began working for the Foundation in 2012 and it has impacted my life in ways I could never imagine! I’m so inspired by the generosity and compassion of our donors, volunteers, staff members and community supporters on a daily basis. Philanthropy is something that runs in my family – my mom volunteers for the Foundation every week (say ‘Hi’ to Sue next time you buy a wooden rose in our lobby). It’s her spirit of giving that keeps me motivated each and every day!
Annual Development Officer
I moved to Saint John from Halifax in the fall of 2012, with the intention of making New Brunswick my permanent home. During my time in New Brunswick, I established a Women’s Rugby program at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John, play football with the Saint John Storm Women’s Tackle Football Team and Team New Brunswick, and volunteer with many charity organizations in various capacities. Long story short, being involved in and giving back to the local community is extremely important to me and I strive to be involved in as much, and in as many ways, as possible. When the opportunity arose to come and work for the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation I couldn’t have been more excited, my passion for community involvement and career path intersected. “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life” (Confucius).

Life is better when you make genuine connections. Luckily for me, I get to do that with our donors, volunteers, and staff members each day. You never know who’s going to come through the door, and what story they’re going to share with you. It’s a pleasure to work with a team of energetic and sincere people, and I’m proud to work with an organization that has such a positive impact in our community.
