(Saint John, NB) – The Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation (SJRHF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Angie Kelly, CFRE, as its new Vice President of Philanthropy.

She has been promoted to lead a growing philanthropy team at the SJRHF and work with donors to help advance healthcare in New Brunswick.

“Angie has strengthened our senior management team and significantly supported our momentum with our leadership-giving fundraising priorities. She is deeply passionate about philanthropy and recognizes that donors are at the heart of all we do. I am looking forward to her leading the SJRHF’s fundraising strategies and bringing her years of experience to empower her team to support our mission,” said Shannon Hunter, President & CEO of the SJRHF.

“I am beyond thrilled to step into the role of Vice President of Philanthropy at the SJRHF. At its core, philanthropy is about making life better for others. Every day, I am inspired by the generosity of our donors and the passion of our fundraising team at the SJRHF. Together, we are united in our mission to make life better for our patients and their loved ones.”

Strategic steps have been taken to reorganize and enable the SJRHF to maintain current growth while advancing fund development capacity and prioritizing relationships with donors, the Foundation team, healthcare partners, and the community to achieve results.

Andrea Watling, CFRE, has been an integral member of the SJRHF since April 2012, helping to raise millions of dollars to impact patient care. She will step into the Director of Leadership Giving position in an acting capacity to ensure the stability and continuity of the Leadership Giving team.
