For over 36 years, the Foundation has been honored to be stewards of the generous gifts donors have given The Saint John Regional Hospital. Together, we have contributed over $115,000,000 supporting health care research, equipment, comfort programs and facilities across our hospital and province.
The generosity of donors changes lives. Every day we see these extraordinary stories and the difference it means for patients, doctors, and nurses. Our purpose is to continue sharing your stories, igniting and inspiring philanthropy’s power, providing exceptional health care for New Brunswick.

How your generosity is changing lives
Dr. Rob Hayes is a dermatologist, seeing some 500 patients a year. He is one of a handful of surgeons in the Maritimes who provides “Mohs” – a medical procedure some 80 years old that still offers the highest cure rates for skin cancers on the head and neck. And he sees those patients in Clinic 1. He’s very excited to see the changes that will come with its expansion.
“I have patients with me for hours. A renovated space is going to offer better patient care,” says Dr. Hayes. “It will also allow me a chance to collaborate on a regular basis with other doctors.”
Fredericton resident Michelle Price never had much time for doctors – until she found herself on the floor of her bedroom late one night, gasping for breadth, suffering a massive heart attack. She credits staff at the New Brunswick Heart Centre with saving her life. “The hospital staff were perfect. Everyone was so kind. And if it hadn’t been for Dr. White, well, I don’t think I’d be here today”
